1.  How do I begin playing?
  The fastest way to start playing is by clicking on the play demo button near one of the games in the main page or in the games page. In order to play non-demo versions of the games you must register.

3.  How do I play non demo games?
  After Signing in press the ''Games'' tab and pick a game to play. Each game has various game option, such as: number of players, different wagers , different prizes and more. To play a game you just click “Play” on the right side at the games line.

4.  What happens if I get disconnected from a game?
  Should a disconnection occur during a game, it will be identified by the system and the player will be disqualified from the game. Disqualification means you lose. It is recommended not to start games (especially prize bearing games) on computers that suffer from technical problems or those with an unstable internet connection.

  In order to practice your trivia skills, your account is credited with practice money. You can use this money to play in practice game only. 1.  Is my money safe with TriviaBox.com, Who is behind this site?
  We are using state of the art security measures in order to protect your money. Each deposit you make is transferred to a US bank account and your money is insured by FDIC for an amount of up to $100,000. We never use funds from this account, as they should always reflect the balances of all of our real money players.

3.  How do I Deposit money to my account?
  There are several ways to transfer money to your TriviaBox account:

Press the 'My Profile' tab and choose the 'Deposit money' option from the menu. Decide how much you wish to deposit (There is a minimum of $20), Select the 'method of payment' (Credit card, Pay pal, etc’) and Click the 'Deposit' button.
You will be forwarded to the appropriate page, where you will be asked to fill in the deposit details (credit card number, account details on pay pal, etc’…) When done filling in the details and if the charge went through successfully, your account at TriviaBox will receive the amount deposited.
All payment methods are safe with a 128-bit SSL encryption.

  PayPal is a secure, account-based system that allows anyone with an e-mail address and an Internet connection to send and receive online payments using a credit card or bank account.

5.  How to withdraw money from my account?
  When you win a real money game or tournament, your TriviaBox account is credited with the prize amount. There are several ways to withdraw funds from your TriviaBox account:
  • PayPal - Funds are transferred to your PayPal account for FREE. A minimum of $20 for each withdrawal to your PayPal account is required.
  • Check - Check is sent to your billing address. There is a processing fee of US$5 for this payment method, and a minimum of US$50 per check is required.
To withdraw your money press the 'My Profile' tab and choose the 'Withdraw money' option. Choose the sum you wish to withdraw (Notice that there is a minimum for each type of withdrawal), Select your preferred method of withdrawal (Pay pal, Check draft, etc.) and click the Withdraw button.
If you chose to withdraw by Draft check, the check will be sent to the address you gave when signing up at TriviaBox. If you chose to withdraw by Pay pal then you will be asked to enter the e-mail of your pay pal account to which the money is being sent.

6.  When entering a tournament or a prize game, it says that the entry fee is $1.00+$0.10 what does that mean?
  The larger sum is the amount each player pays for the prize in the game/tournament. The smaller sum is the commission the site collects.

9.  Why can't I withdraw all of my money?
  You can't withdraw all of your money in case some of it is bonus money. Bonus money can only be used to participate in cash prize games, and can not be withdrawn.

  Bonus money is money that members get by participating in special promotions that triviabox.com conducts from time to time (inviting friends, winning free tournaments etc). My Account
1.  How do I open an account?
  In order to open an account, just go to www.TriviaBox.com and press the 'Join Now' button. You will be asked to enter your email address and your user name.

2.  Can I have more then one account?
  No, opening multiple accounts for the same user is illegal and will lead to the closure of all of the player’s accounts. We are running special programs that help us detect the opening of multiple accounts.

3.  Why do I need to validate my e-mail?
  E-mail validation is needed so we can provide you with the best service we can, your e-mail is our exclusive way to communicate with you. In addition, e-mail validation prevents dubious players from playing against you in non-demo games. Players who didn't validate there e-mails can't deposit real money. An account which e-mail's address hasn't been validated will be suspended after seven days.

4.  How do I validate my e-mail?
  After registering for the first time, an e-mail will be sent to you with a validation link. Clicking on that link will validate your e-mail account. If you did not receive an e-mail please check that you entered the correct e-mail in your account information. Changing your e-mail in the account information will send a new validation link to the new e-mail you entered.

5.  I forgot my username and password, what should I do?
  All you have to do is enter the main page. Choose the 'I forgot my password' option and type in your e-mail. A mail with your User name and password will be sent to your e-mail within minutes.

7.  How is my rank determined?
  There are 7 possible ranks: Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, Master, Grandmaster and Legend. The more games you play the higher your rank will be. The following table shows the number of games you should play to advance in the rank scale:

8.  How do I review or change my account information?
  You can see your account information by pressing the “my profile” tab and selecting the 'account information' option. In the account information page you won't be able to update all fields. This limitation is for your own protection. Changing personal information like your user name, date of birth or address is done through customer services. 1.  Are these games considered gambling?
  NO. Gambling is defined as an activity in which chance is the main factor. Since our game is based on skill (Knowledge) it is not considered gambling.

1.  What are the Software requirements to play the games?
  In order to play the games you are required to have Internet Explorer 5 (or above), and Macromedia Flash 8 (or above) installed on your computer.

2.  I have a slow internet connection. Can I participate in The TriviaBox.com game shows?
  Of course! The TriviaBox.com web site is adapted to work using all internet connections. In rare and extreme cases, when the internet connection is too slow to allow a reasonable degree of interactivity, the system will automatically disqualify the according contestant.

3.  I got a message "Can not connect to server, possibly due to a firewall problem", what should I do?
  You got this message because a firewall is blocking your access to the server. A standard firewall of an OS does not block the server, but a business firewall blocks participation in the game.

4.  Does the site work with every browser?
  The site works optimally with Firefox 1.0.3 and IE5 and above.

5.  Why does the game seem to stall?
  TriviaBox.com is built for quick real time interactive gaming, regardless of contestants' internet connection. Occasionally, due to technical issues unrelated to TriviaBox.com, a slowing might occur. Should such a slowing occur, please wait patiently for the game to continue. In rare cases, when slowing down is not solved, our automatic check up system may identify the slowing as result of one the contestant's internet connections. In this case the contestant will be disqualified from the game, after which it will return to its normal flow.

6.  The games won't open up, why?
  You might be using a popup blocker, and that could be what is stopping the game from opening

7.  The game window opens up, but the game itself doesn’t work, what should I do?
  You could be using a download accelerator that is preventing the downloading of the game. Please make sure your Download accelerators are off during game play
